As it turns 20 at the end of this year, I’d prefer ‘Bully’ on Switch.
Edit: Just remembered that I’d love to play ‘The Warriors’ (2005) too, but im sure that’s stuck in some legal hell that would make it the least likely rerelease.
No, stop, why?
Give me Dark Souls 2, and 3, also Sekiro pls.
Well, tbf GTAV should’ve been on the Switch for a while alr
I don’t know what kind of technique they used, but the facial expressions in this game look incredibly realistic, better than a lot of modern games.
Honestly not sure why GTA5 wasn’t on Switch to begin with….
They can fix Oblivion Remastered first. Genuinely can’t remember the last time I saw a game crash so often.
Can we get red dead on fucking ps5 first?
I’d be happy with a good GTA IV port
Studio willing to continue working.
Only do it if it’s REAL physical media. Not key card slop.
Does this studio have the resources for such an ambitious port?
After playing games like Requiem, Pragmata and Indiana Jones… I can’t see a real excuse why any first party game of the last ten years can’t be in the switch 2.
Launch titles were underwhelming as far as graphics were concerned and it had me worried about what kind of support the switch 2 would get from third party developers.
….but damn requiem was a dream to play in handheld, and the same goes for Pragmata. I’m sure it’s a world of difference in the PS and Xbox, but it’s hard to tell in playing a “lesser version”.
I dig it.
GTA5 on Switch 2 would print money, and be a decent consolation prize for Nintendo owners who can’t play GTA6.
It should have been a Switch 2 launch game.
No Manhunt 3 Switch 2 exclusive with table saw scene utilizing mouse controls tho.
They gonna make JoyCon with analog triggers?
I’d happily play it offline.
Nice! I’d be down for both on the go, despite already playing and beating them on ps4 and Xbox respectively
Picked up Hades on Switch first but ended up double-dipping on PS5 for the loading times and cleaner visuals. Still, nothing beats playing Hollow Knight in bed on the OLED model. The portability is something special for indies, especially slower-paced ones where you don’t mind slightly lower res. Switch for cozy sessions on the couch, PS5 when wanting to really settle in — having both feels like the best of both worlds honestly.
RDR2 on Switch would be genuinely insane. Virtuos did solid work on LA Noire so I’m cautiously optimistic, but that game is massive — curious how much they’d need to cut.

I stand by that GTAV on Switch isn’t really that interesting. Like, another port of GTAV? Well, la-di-da. But I wanna see them so it just to see HOW they do it, especially if it’s not a Switch 2 version. I always imagined it’d be super comparable to the very first 2013 version.
I’ve been in the market for a hybrid GTA V for ages, all the moreso after reluctantly wiping the PC port from my Deck courtesy of combined BattleEye and Rockstar Launcher hijinks. The Switch port would likely take much less space compared to other versions as well (NS2 ones sadly have to deal with bulkier stuff in comparison, ironically in a more challenging storage upgrade environment).
I already owe Virtuos plenty of hybrid pastimes, but the likes of GTA 5 and FFXIII trilogy are still high on my portbeg list as well.
That would be neat.
I thought there was a rumor about a RDR2 port to Switch 2. Does that mean the rumor is false ?
Gtav is the WORST gta game period. Because online ruined everything great about the franchise. Gta6 will be way worse and I’ll be happy to see it flop
Switch or Switch 2? Because those are very different things. I wonder how well GTA 5 would run on the original Switch, assuming they base it on the 360 version, and it’s just story mode.
When?
Lack of analog triggers would be a step back when playing it.
GTA v on switch 2 would be nice and would make kinda sense tbh
