Dynamax Registeel is finally in Pokémon GO Max Battles and after testing it… this boss is honestly much easier than people expected if your team is prepared properly. In this video I show how much damage a Level 50 Machamp can do against Dynamax Registeel and why Fighting types absolutely dominate this Max Battle.

Registeel is weak to Fighting, Fire, and Ground type attacks, making Pokémon like Gigantamax Machamp, Gigantamax Cinderace, Charizard, Excadrill, Darmanitan, and Urshifu some of the best counters in Pokémon GO right now. Even regular Machamp performs incredibly well and can delete huge chunks of Registeel’s HP during the Dynamax phase.

One of the biggest tips for defeating Dynamax Registeel is not running full attackers. The easiest strategy is having a balanced team with attackers, tanks, and healers. Pokémon like Zamazenta, Metagross, and Registeel work well as defenders, while Blissey and other bulky Pokémon can keep your team alive throughout the battle.
