Mega evolution genuinely feels underwhelming in this game. The pokemon that can mega evolve in my team are Hanagaki the Venusaur and Lee the Lucario. Who most of the time don't need it. The only reason I use it is if Lee needs an extra boost to her closecombat to sweep the entire team.
Hanzo the Greninja and Balista the Golurk haven't learnt any powerful dark or ghost type moves aside from shadow punch which is disappointing but manageable with spell tag on Golurk + iron fist.
Nymeria has finally caught up with the team at lvl 55 who was struggling till now because she gained two levels in a battle before evolving making her miss out on psychic attack till much later on. With dazzling gleam and psychic, she pretty much swept the entirety of team flare on her own aside from Lysander's Gyarados and Pyroar.
Hart the Talonflame has unfortunately little to no action since the rest of his teammates were struggling to keep up with him after Ramos' gym. Hopefully now that the team is roughly on the same level, i can bring him out for fights a lot more.
Remaining objectives: 8th gym badge, victory road, Elite 4 and Champion.
