The XL rare candy was already a thing for max battles. Its interesting that they are just now letting everyone know about this.
They're bringing back spotlight hour on Thursdays bc they cant get enough people to care about pvp. So they had to give them something to do on Thursdays. I loved getting 100battles on Thursdays glad they didn't get rid of itn

My daily research was erased out of nowhere…..it was to scan a pokestop for a poffin….I went to do it a few days later but poof it was gone. And I haven't received the research task to scan for a poffin since…..
Glad they are doing this. I understand the burnout and FOMO with the game from previous seasons. And it was nice that Niantic listened to players about that. But they went too far. Since Kalos tour it's been so light. Yes there's still Comm Days and Raid Days. But during the week it's been quiet. Very few events and the events they've had have been very light on good pokemon or worthwhile research. I have felt very little incentive to go out and catch pokemon and use my daily incense of late cause there's nothing exciting out there.
You will always keep the hardcores and the burnout people will appreciate it, but I feel the group of people in the middle, the ones who aren't hardcore but still want constant incentive to play, will stop playing if this continues.

When they release the SHINY Zygarde, we will need more cells to transform it! I expect the Mega Zygarde will release at the same time as the shiny and will only be able to catch 1 guaranteed shiny. That way we can still farm mega energy.

If they brought out the whole XL candy bullshit and overrode max level 40,requiring a whopping 296 XL candies,then at least have a reliable way to acquire them. It’s a stupid system. They probably just want you to raid your ass off. And XL candy for mythicals,that’s a whole other issue
