Welcome back to another episode of **Is It A Fair Trade?**, the series where we break down real Pokémon GO remote trade requests and decide whether they’re worth accepting or rejecting.
In today’s episode, one of my newest **Forever Friends** sends me a remote trade request… but they want one of my most valuable Pokémon: **Galarian Articuno**.
At first, I thought this could be an interesting trade, but after checking their remote trade collection, things quickly changed. There were no Legendary Pokémon available, no Shiny Pokémon, no Costume Pokémon, and no Special Background Pokémon. In fact, they only had a small handful of Pokémon marked for remote trading.
For me, that’s an instant decline.
If you’re sending remote trade requests to other Trainers, especially for rare Pokémon like the Galarian Birds, you need to give people options. I always recommend having hundreds of Pokémon tagged and ready for remote trading so both players have the best chance of finding a fair deal. A larger trade pool means better negotiations, better Lucky Trade opportunities, and a much higher chance that both Trainers walk away happy.
But maybe I’m being too harsh…

lol you are too kind in this situation. I would start the trade for the shiny Galar zigzagoon and see what they ask for. If it’s for something crazy again then they get deleted
500 is a lot but I completely agree that this guy had literally nothing lol. I would have canceled and deleted him as a friend
