I was creeped out how long the stare actually lasted.
Because back and white was the first anime I watched this episode felt like a stab in the back dude!
Nah, no words needed to be said. Ash knew how she felt, which is why he was specifically there for her. And he also knew that despite the sadness, she'd pick herself back up.
Even if what you say is true, in my experience sometimes we need to give people space to get all those emotions out

To be fair, Iris was an obnoxious jerk to Ash the entire time they traveled together in B&W. If anything, payback’s a Bidoof
And worst than that he never replaced Misty's bike!!! 😂
Maybe because ash didnt want to get emotional before HIS own fight 🤔 or maybe he remembered he had his own girl in hoenn so tried to be nonchalant 🤔 🤷
Blame the writers, they're making Ash standing there and not comforting Iris..
