Pokémon Masters EX is celebrating its seventh anniversary by giving two of the franchise’s most beloved Trainers stunning new looks. Red and Lillie are leading Bandai Spirits’ latest Ichiban Kuji lottery with three all-new premium figure designs inspired by some of the mobile game’s most popular anniversary outfits.
The Pokémon Masters EX 7th Anniversary lottery launches across Japan on Aug. 29, the exact anniversary of the game’s original release, and ahead of the franchise’s 30th anniversary coming up this September. Tickets for the Ichiban Kuji lottery cost 850 yen (about $5.75 USD) each, with the highest-tier prizes centered around large MASTERLISE PLUS figures featuring Red, Charizard and two different versions of Lillie alongside her Legendary Pokémon partners.

The collection’s standout A Prize stars Red in his Pokémon Masters EX Sygna Suit alongside Charizard. Long regarded as one of the Pokémon franchise’s most iconic Trainers, serving as the series’ first playable character after his debut in Pokémon Red and Blue, Red’s anniversary figure recreates his Sync Move “Living Legend Blast Burn” pose, complete with his signature cap, black-and-red outfit and a towering acrylic Charizard backdrop spreading its wings behind him.
Lillie, who first appeared in Pokémon Sun and Moon, receives not one but two anniversary-inspired figures. Since her debut, the fan-favorite Trainer has become one of Pokémon Masters EX’s most recognizable characters thanks to her cute design, emotional story, and growing collection of alternate outfits.
The B Prize features Lillie’s 2021 Anniversary outfit paired with Lunala. Dressed in a flowing navy-and-purple gown decorated with celestial accents, Lillie is shown smiling with her hands held close together while Lunala’s massive wings stretch across the acrylic backdrop behind her. The display is based on the pair’s Sync Move, “Shining Wish Moongeist Beam,” giving the figure a distinctly elegant appearance.
Lillie’s 2024 Anniversary outfit receives equally impressive treatment as both the Last One Prize and the Double Chance Prize. Swapping Lunala’s darker color palette for Solgaleo-inspired white and gold, the figure captures Lillie in a bright layered dress accented with gold details and floral accessories. The imposing Solgaleo backdrop creates a striking contrast with Lillie’s gentle pose, drawing inspiration from the Sync Move “Courageous Heart Sunsteel Strike.”
While Red and Lillie headline the collection, the anniversary lottery also includes commemorative tote bags, Trainer Salon mini figures, framed artwork, clear posters and collectible sticker sets featuring additional Pokémon Masters EX characters. Fans who miss out on the top prizes will have another opportunity through the Double Chance campaign, which runs from the lottery’s release through the end of November 2026.
The Ichiban Kuji Pokémon Masters EX 7th Anniversary lottery begins Aug. 29 at Pokémon Centers, Ichiban Kuji Official Shops and participating hobby retailers across Japan. At this time, it does not appear that overseas fans will be able to enter the lottery, but they may be able to acquire the special figurines through third-party resellers after the promotion concludes.
