It appears that the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo has been discovered in an unexplored realm in Greengrass Isle in Pokémon Sleep!
Mewtwo is a very cautious Pokémon, but as we head deeper into the unexplored realm, we may get to encounter rare sleep styles that wouldn’t normally be seen.
It seems cooperation from the Mythical Pokémon Mew is key to advancing the survey of the unexplored realm, on account of its curiosity about Mewtwo’s rare sleep styles. Advance the survey of the unexplored realm with Snorlax’s Drowsy Power and the combined strength of Mew and researchers worldwide.

Event Overview
![]()
This two-week event is a special opportunity to conduct a survey of the unexplored realm within Greengrass Isle and trace the rare sleep styles of Mewtwo.
During the event, the average Drowsy Power of researchers worldwide will be combined with your own Drowsy Power to accumulate Event Drowsy Power. It seems that Event Drowsy Power will accumulate as you research the unexplored realm, allowing you to advance deep into the heart of the unexplored realm.
Also during the event, Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo is more likely to appear, and a bonus will be applied to Drowsy Power if you have Mew, or Mewtwo on your team while you sleep.
You’ll also only be able to get Mewtwo DNA from sleep research while the event is in progress. You can trade Mewtwo DNA samples via the Event Exchange for new items Mewtwo Incense and Mewtwo Biscuits in order to help you see Mewtwo’s sleep styles.
In addition, Very Big Mago Berries that are larger than usual and provide considerable Strength have been discovered in the unexplored realm. It also seems that Mew, Mewtwo, and Psychic-type Pokémon can bring you more Berries!

After the event ends, you will still be able to exchange Mewtwo DNA until the Event Exchange closes.
You will lose any remaining Mewtwo DNA once the exchange period ends.
How to Get Mewtwo DNA
Sleep Research in the Event Areas: This is the main way to get Mewtwo DNA. You cannot get any of these items during the second sleep research of the day. The number of Mewtwo DNA samples you can get depends on the species of Pokémon and the sleep styles you find them in. Psychic-type Pokémon that you research will give you a greater number of samples of Mewtwo DNA.
Limited-Time Missions: You can get samples of Mewtwo DNA by completing limited-time missions.
Event Rank Rewards: You can get samples of Mewtwo DNA by raising your event rank to certain levels.
Mewtwo Research Bundles Vol. 1 and Mewtwo Last Chance Bundles Vol. 1: For sale in the in-game shop.
Research Community: In rare cases, you can get samples of Mewtwo DNA from other researchers in your Research Community who are also participating in the same event. The higher your closeness with a researcher, the more likely you are to receive samples of Mewtwo DNA from them.

The following items will arrive in your Gift Box at the beginning of the event’s first week and again at the beginning of the second week – Mewtwo DNA ×70.
