Kinetic Publishing and Electric Saint have announced that Crescent County is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
In this “cosy-with-bite slice-of-life game,” as the chaotic young adult Lu you must use your motorbroom to courier parcels by day before racing the streets at night.
Set on the crescent-shaped, magical Isle of Mor., the developer has looked to “offer the experience of Kiki’s Delivery Service meets the bikes of Akira set on a rural, witch-tech island.” From getting involved in local gossip and drama, to herding sheep and fixing leylines, the heartfelt game “is about kissing, drifting, and being a mess in your 20s.”
“Crescent County is centred around the idea of what it means to find your home,” explains Electric Saint creative director Anna Hollinrake. “We want players to enjoy every element of this – from taking part in blood-pumping racing to getting involved in messy local gossip and dating their friends. The motorbroom driving isn’t about time trials or leaderboards – it’s about hanging out with your friends, and above all, it should be fun!

The publisher has outlined teh game’s key features, which include:
Motorbroom driving: Enjoy crunchy, flow-state driving – deliver parcels to earn an income or race your island friends
Relationship building: Form deep relationships with the close-knit characters you meet, and get to know their joys, struggles, and endless drama
Open world: The Isle of Mor offers a painterly witch-tech open world to get lost in
Customisation: Upgrade your motorbroom (for handling, deliveries, AND aesthetics)
Crescent County will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide in Summer 2027.
