Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are bringing Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the new survival-horror action game, to Nintendo Switch 2 Oct. 8, 2026. Nintendo fans can get ready for a terrifying journey into the dark world of the Labyrinth will feel both unique and familiar to enthusiasts of survival horror and action. Best of all, Switch 2 players will also get a fully uncensored experience.
Every once in a great while we see a game wind up on Switch or Switch 2 where content has been censored, tweaked, or cut as compared to other versions. This usually happens with a PC versus Switch/Switch 2 release, but the most famous case of censorship comes from Dispatch on Nintendo platforms, which had nudity and other content culled as compared to all other versions. We’re still not quite sure what happened there, but that particular instance has made Nintendo fans nervous that other titles will be censored. With Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, that will not be the case.
Saber Interactive provided a statement to FRVR concerning Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival on Switch 2, and it will include the exact same content seen in other versions. The statement reads “Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will contain the same content across all platforms. The gameplay is meant to push boundaries and will not be censored in any way, including the Nintendo Switch 2 version.”
Combat in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is brutal and visceral. With a wide variety of weapons at your disposal, from hard-hitting melee weapons to explosive firearms, you’ll have plenty of ways to banish Hell’s minions. You’ll need to keep your wits about you, dodging attacks, scavenging for ammo and healing, laying down traps, and bartering for upgrades to stay alive against Cultists, Runners, Bursters, the Unworthy and other terrors.
