Neon Giant, a creative studio of KRAFTON, Inc., today announced that pre-orders are now open for The Ascent Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch as The Ascent Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game and DLC including Cyber Heist, CyberSec Pack and Cyber Warrior Pack. This digital-only edition will launch on December 2.
Pre-orders are available now through Nintendo eShop. During the pre-order period, the Ultimate Edition is available at a 10% discount for $26.99, down from its regular price of $29.99, with the offer running through launch.
Alongside the opening of pre-orders, Neon Giant released a new Nintendo Switch 2 trailer for The Ascent. The trailer takes players through the neon-lit streets and industrial environments of Veles, showcasing weapons, gear and cybernetic augmentations as players battle through waves of enemies. It also highlights both solo and co-op gameplay, offering a look at the fast-paced action players can experience alone or alongside others.
Ahead of the Nintendo Switch 2 release, Neon Giant will roll out a Legacy Patch for the existing PC, Xbox Series XǀS and PlayStation versions on November 18. The update will improve localization, add HDR support, and fix key issues with co-op teleporting, encounter systems, saving, and progression. These fixes and improvements will also be included in the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
Set in the corporate-controlled cyberpunk world of Veles, The Ascent is an action-shooter RPG that can be played solo or in co-op with up to four players. Players can combine a range of weapons and cyberware to shape their own approach to combat. Since its original release in 2021, more than 12 million players have entered the world of The Ascent.
The Ascent Ultimate Edition launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2 at 6:00 p.m. PST in North America.
