In a partnership between EB Games Canada and Nintendo, the two companies will be collaborating on the first-ever North American Nintendo “store-within-a-store” experience. Featured at the flagship store in Toronto at 267 Yonge Street, the combined effort is an attempt to revive the retail experience and show shoppers that having a tangible location can help strengthen your love of a particular brand.
“There’s something special about gathering around the games we love, and we believe physical retail has an important role to play in creating those moments,” said EB Games Canada owner and CEO Stéphan Tétrault. “The Nintendo space at EB Games is exactly the kind of retail experience we want to bring to our customers – immersive, exciting and designed to bring people closer to their favourite characters and franchises.”
As you would expect, the location will feature Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and games, with playable demos, Nintendo-themed kiosks, and tons of merchandise. Shoppers will also be able to grab a selection of “My Mario” merchandise, which will be available exclusively at this new EB Games Canada location. As the press release reads, “the offerings will create a one-of-a-kind destination for longtime Nintendo fans, families and anyone looking to discover what’s new from Nintendo.”
The location will officially open its doors on October 17th, 2026, at 10 am.
