Nintendo Switch 2 Officially Gets New Cozy Game Perfect for Animal Crossing Fans

Only time will tell when the next Animal Crossing game will be released, but fans looking for their next cozy gaming obsession now have a new alternative on Nintendo Switch 2. holoVillage: Our Cozy Days, a relaxing life simulation game previously exclusive to PC, is now available on Nintendo’s latest console for players worldwide.

Hololive, through its indie game publishing brand, originally released holoVillage: Our Cozy Days on April 24, 2026, for PC via Steam. The Animal Crossing-like game won over Hololive fans by blending laid-back simulation gameplay with their favorite anime girl streamers. Now, holoVillage is available to download on Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. for $24.99. More game details are available below.

“holoVillage: Our Cozy Days is a game where you can live a carefree, laid-back life in a fantasy village together with your oshi,” the official game description reads.

“Enjoy a relaxing slow life of farming, mining, fishing, and more. In the village, you can till your fields, fish, craft with the materials you’ve gathered, open a shop to sell equipment, and join mini lives on the beach… Play however you like and spend easygoing days with hololive members.”

Welcome familiar Hololive talents to your village as villagers and live alongside them. Of course, they can lend a hand with farm work and other tasks, but you can also have them wear your favorite outfits, take photos together, and more… As your friendship grows, you may receive all kinds of gifts, such as character-specific profile cards and furniture. Take your time and build up memories together.

Exciting dungeon exploration

Vast fields stretch out beyond the village. All sorts of enemies appear, and dungeons even hide powerful bosses! Enjoy thrilling adventures, too. Make the most of multiple weapon types, equipment customization and upgrades through smithing, the Job Ability tree, and more to reach ever greater heights!

In-depth room design (housing)

In your house and shop rooms, you can freely arrange hololive-themed furniture, goods, and more to create an interior that’s truly your own. There are over 1,800 furniture items! Placement is extremely flexible: stack furniture many layers high, hang items on the walls, and more. You can also upload and publish the room you’re proud of to the server, or go visit your friends’ rooms.

A huge variety of costumes and character customization

Create your own character and change outfits. Create a character that reflects yourself, or dress up as your favorite hololive talent… There are over 1,300 costumes and character creation parts in total! You can even have villagers wear the outfits you like.
