Pokémon fans are about to get the chance to collect exclusive merchandise, and all by enjoying what might already be one of their favorite beverages.

As announced by Nissin Group, the Japanese food and beverage giant has officially unveiled the upcoming Let’s Start a Pokémon! Pilkuru Habit! Present Campaign. The new initiative is slated to begin on November 1, and will offer consumers the chance to claim exclusive Pokémon merchandise simply by enjoying Pilkul 400.

The official announcement for the Let’s Start a Pokémon! Pilkuru Habit! Present Campaign reads, “Pilkul, a Food for Specified Health Uses, has been enjoyed by many customers since its launch in September 1993 as a lactic acid beverage that you can gulp down to your heart’s content.’ Since 2021, we have been selling the ‘Pilkul 400 Pokémon Package,’ featuring designs of Pokémon, which are loved all over the world, for a limited time, and it has been very well received.”

“To commemorate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, we are holding a gift campaign in which you can win specially designed Pokémon goods… In addition, 51 Pokémon from the Kanto region have been selected and designed on the Pilkul 400 series packages (22 types in total), in limited quantities.”

Among the consumers who purchase Pilkul 400 Pokémon Packages during the campaign, 200 will be selected to receive the coveted A Prize in the form of a specially designed Pokémon blanket. 300 participants will receive the B Prize, an exclusive cooler bag, while 1,000 participants will receive the C Price in the form of an exclusive sticker kit.

As unexpected as Nissin Group’s Let’s Start a Pokémon! Pilkuru Habit! Present Campaign might be, it is just one of dozens of major corporate collaborations between the Pokémon franchise and other popular brands to arise as part of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations. In mid-October, The Pokémon Company and the SGC Corporation worked together to bring a roughly $10,000 24-karat gold Gholdengo collectible to the Yokohama Great Gold Exhibition, right alongside life-sized gold leaf sculptures of Gholdengo and Pikachu.

In May, All Nippon Airways unveiled the next iteration of its iconic Pokémon Jets, each of which now includes its respective Starter Pokémon from the next generation of mainline games — Pokémon Winds & Waves. All Nippon Airways’ Pokémon Jet Green, Red, and Blue now feature ten generations of Grass, Fire, and Water-Type Starter Pokémon, with Pokémon Winds & Waves’ Growt, Pombom, and Gecqua slotting right in next to their respective compatriots.

If that weren’t enough, Pokémon fans even got the chance to begin capturing memories with their very own Pokémon x Polaroid camera. The recently released line of Pokémon x Polaroid products almost immediately sold out across the boart, although fans are understandably hopeful to see it make a return in the near future.

The Let’s Start a Pokémon! Pilkuru Habit! Present Campaign begins on November 1.
