A triplet of secret rare Mew cards debuted earlier this year in the Pokémon Trading Card Game as part of the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations. Pokémon’s third decade has been marked by limited-edition merchandise, commemorative collectible items, and more from third-party partners, but one of the highlights has been the TCG’s 30th Celebration line of cards.
When the 30th Celebration packs became available over a month ago, unannounced secret rare Mew cards began to be pulled and shared online. The three matching cards are now known as RGB Mew for their trichrome color scheme and special numbering—R/RGB, G/RGB, and B/RGB. These three sought-after Mew cards are now coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket, the game’s mobile adaptation.

On October 31, 2026, a new First Partners Special Pack will appear in Pokémon TCG Pocket, and will include the three RGB Mew cards as well as digital versions of 27 promo cards featuring the mainline video games’ starter Pokémon, per PokéBeach. It is expected that, just like in the physical card game, the RGB Mew cards will be exceedingly rare in Pocket, though the exact pull rates are not known.
The images of the three RGB Mew cards above are those from the physical TCG, for lack of high-resolution images showing their digital Pocket counterparts. The artwork for the three secret rares in Pocket appears identical, but they will have different stats in the mobile game. The Pocket versions will have 10 more HP (totaling 70) and their attack costs have been altered.
All three RGB Mew cards were illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN, bearing the same artwork with the three colors cycled between the cards’ various elements (R/RGB has a red background, blue Mew, and green text; G/RGB has a green background, etc.). As 30th anniversary secret rares, the three cards celebrate the franchise’s first three video games, Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue Versions.
A Rare Opportunity in Pokémon TCG Pocket

As noted by PokéBeach, the opportunity to pull newer cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket is not common. The mobile game tends to remix old cards into new, themed packs, with their pull cards sometimes being exclusive to Pocket, featuring animated card art. RGB Mew and the starter promos just came out in September, making their appearance in Pocket an incredibly quick turnaround. RGB Mew remain valuable chase cards, with market prices currently ranging from $3,500 to $4,800, according to TCGPlayer listings.
The starter Pokémon promos coming to Pocket are similarly new to the TCG, having released in waves throughout this year. While it’s a bit unusual for Pocket to follow the physical TCG’s releases so closely, it’s not entirely surprising given the special occasion. All 27 starters and Mew remain some of the franchise’s most beloved Pokémon, and the digital version of the Pokémon Trading Card game has really taken off since its release a couple of years ago, so there’s no sense in leaving digital players out of the 30th anniversary festivities.
