Top Selling Pokémon Cards on TCGplayer: October 2026

The first step to serving customer demand is to understand it. So to help you follow what’s currently popular with players and collectors, we’ve put together a pair of downloadable CSV reports of the top-selling Pokémon cards of the past month.

These reports show the name and set of the Pokémon cards with the highest total number of copies sold on the TCGplayer Marketplace between October 1 and 31, 2026. The reports consider cards from different sets to be distinct (even if they have the same name), but do not distinguish copies sold by condition (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.) or by printing (Foil, etc.).

The two reports cover cards that had an average sale price in October within two ranges: $50.00 or more, and $1.00 to $49.99.

Here are five highlights from each report.

Top Selling Pokémon Cards: $50 or More

#1 Mew ex – 158/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $53.46

30th Celebration released on September 16 worldwide, and quickly dominated the conversation among Pokémon fans—as well as the top 5 spots on our list of best-sellers over $50. While sealed 30th Celebration products are still hard to find, the singles are (relatively) inexpensive, so more collectors have turned to the secondary market to finish their master sets.

At the top of the list we have Futuristic Rare Mew ex, one of the first cards that was teased from the set.

#2 Mew ex – 152/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $86.27

Next is the Mew ex, one of the last cards to be officially spoiled…

#3 Gengar ex – 154/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $72.49

Followed by Gengar ex, another late reveal. Because the pull rates in 30th Celebration are so generous, these Special Illustration Rares aren’t as hard to find as fans might guess given their artwork, rarity, and featured Pokémon.

#4 Pikachu ex – 149/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $50.54

30th Celebration has a Day/Night visual theme exemplified by its two SIR Pikachu cards: this Day version…

#5 Pikachu ex – 150/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $61.47

…and its Nighttime counterpart. For the natural capstones of a set, they’re quite affordable, and therefore popular among casual collectors.

Top Selling Pokémon Cards: $1.00 to $49.99

#1 Pikachu – 040/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $3.23

30th Celebration includes 30 “Pikachu Rare” cards, specially numbered out of 30 and each illustrated by a different artist.

On average, a collector would have to open around 400 packs to complete the set of 30, so many fans opted to buy some or all of the Pikachu Rares as singles. The most valuable of the bunch is this one illustrated by Shinji Kanda, whose cards are famous for always being so valuable.

#2 Mew ex – 066/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $2.92

The base-rarity version of Mew ex is the most playable card in 30th Celebration.

#3 Pikachu – 027/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $1.09

Asako Ito’s Pikachu was key for fans completing their Pikachu sets, and for fans of Ito’s crochet art style.

#4 Pikachu – 032/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $1.15

Another Pikachu Rare by another well-known Pokémon artist: the inimitable Tomokazu Komiya.

#5 Pikachu – 034/128
Set: ME: 30th Celebration
Average Sale Price: $1.21

Artist USGMEN is best known for illustrating the SIR Mew ex from Paldean Fates, aka “Bubble Mew.”
