Pokémon Champions is set to host a new online competition, the Mega Evolution Battle Event, giving players an opportunity to showcase their strongest Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution. The special competition will feature Double Battles, with exclusive in-game titles available as rewards based on participation and final rankings.

Announced by The Pokémon Company, the event will introduce a dedicated Mega Evolution ruleset, allowing Trainers to build teams around some of the franchise’s most powerful Pokémon.

Pokémon Champions Mega Evolution Battle Event: Schedule

The Mega Evolution Battle competition will take place over three days in November 2026. However, players will have an extended registration window to sign up for the event.

Here are the important dates:

Registration opens: November 6, 2026, at 2:00 AM UTC.

Registration closes: November 16, 2026, at 1:59 AM UTC.

Competition begins: November 13, 2026, at 2:00 AM UTC.

Competition ends: November 16, 2026, at 1:59 AM UTC.

Players can register by opening Pokémon Champions and navigating to Battle, followed by Online Competitions. They can then select Mega Evolution Battle from the available competitions.

Mega Evolution Battle Event: Rules and Format

As its name suggests, the Mega Evolution Battle Event will feature a special ruleset that exclusively allows Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution.

The competition will follow the Double Battles format, meaning players must prepare their teams for strategic two-on-two encounters.

Only Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution are eligible.

All matches will follow the Double Battles format.

Players can participate in the competition during the designated event period.

Trainers must complete at least three battles resulting in a win or loss to qualify for the participation reward.

This special format will encourage players to experiment with different Mega Evolution strategies and build competitive teams around their favourite Pokémon.

Pokémon Champions Mega Evolution Battle Event: All Rewards

The upcoming competition will offer exclusive profile titles depending on players’ final rankings. Additionally, everyone who completes at least three qualifying battles will receive a participation reward, regardless of their overall performance.

Here are all the confirmed rewards:

Three or more completed battles: Mega Evolution Battle Challenger title.

1st–100th place: Mega Evolution Battle Master.

101st–1,000th place: Mega Evolution Battle Veteran.

1,001st–10,000th place: Mega Evolution Battle Ace.

10,001st–100,000th place: Mega Evolution Battle Rising Star.

Players can check their final rankings through the Online Competitions section after the results are announced. Eligible rewards can then be collected from their in-game mailbox.
