I played after 10 am and still got nada , ever notice before a community day Pokémon with shitty stats take 10 eggs to catch ?
event finished 6 hours ago in california and after 164 costume catches not one rare/xl 🙁 niantic with consistent Ls
I’m from the Netherlands and grinder the full day, I was out to catch for 6 hours and caught over 500 costume Pokémon. I counted 3 rare candy and 0 xl and the worst thing is I did 3 raids so the normal rare candy could have been a raid reward instead of catch…
Not too upset that i slept through most of the event then.
Taking a day of for this "bonus" was a waste. Ok, got one XL-Candy, but really? This was a scam. If it was anything else than POKEMON go, This game would be history already. The game only survives on the brand POKEMON.
I saved up all of the costume pokemon from field research and caught them between midnight and 1am so that pissed me off! I played all day and got 0 rare candy. My wife also played and got 1 rare candy. Why advertise an event and a bonus that doesn't exist?
I’ve played all day yesterday from 10am to 8pm in Poland. Over 500 costume Pokémon and only received two rare candies, so that panned out perfectly 😂
Silph road recently confirmed that go+/plus/Gotcha will never reward a rare candy. I got a rare candy xl doing a route, but have manually caught about 300 costumed pokemon manually and have gotten 1 other rare candy, though i didn't see it. i did some other routes and idnd't check all the rewards, so there's a good chance i got it from one of those. typical niantic.
I caught 30 to 40 Piplups and got no shiny 😢.
To late. Osaka 22 kilometers, zero candies, XLs – zero. 400 costumes caught .
Even worse – did 2 Gengar raids which started before 8pm , still showing the costumes, but when caught were just bare / nude / normal… it was then I new I got ripped. 🤬
Only got 2 shiny costum pumpkins for the whole event.
And …. The monsters disappeared early

I played in california caught over 100 costumes and didn’t get a single rare candy
500 costume catches between 10am and 8pm, and not a single rare candy.
Took 1800 pumpkaboo catches from start of part 1 to the end of part one before I saw a single shiny pumpkaboo this year.
500+ Pikachu checks and no shiny

I'm in the US, I played for a few hours and didn't get any rare candy or rare xl candy.
It also did not show as a event detail in the Today page on my app at all throughout the 31s.
I thought the bonus was more candy when catching costumed pokemon, I didn’t realize the bonus was for rare candy. I completely misunderstood the bonus & didn’t get any rare candy from the event.
