Zelda Ocarina of Time remake Master Quest

Master Quest does not appear to be included in the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, based on player reports.

Some lucky fans are playing the game early thanks to copies that have been sold early. If that wasn’t enough, there’s at least one person out there who’s already completed the adventure.

Nintendo hasn’t said anything about Master Quest in the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. Because of that, some held on to the hope that it was just something the company would leave players to discover for themselves. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. We’re hearing that it’s just not in there at all.

Dragintodarknes, who has a copy and beat the game, says Master Quest isn’t included. This does not unlock after completing the story, which is something some had hoped would happen.

So unless we hear otherwise, Master Quest isn’t in the Zelda: Ocarina of Time Nintendo Switch 2 remake. That said, technically it could still happen, whether that’s in the form of an update or DLC.

Master Quest is something Nintendo introduced for Zelda: Ocarina of Time when it landed on the GameCube, and it returned for the 3DS remaster. It features rearranged dungeons with more difficult enemies and puzzle differences. In the Nintendo 3DS version, the world is also flipped.

In other news, we just found out about a pretty big change in the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake with a new leak, and it’s something many fans were hoping to see.

Are you disappointed to hear that Master Quest isn’t featured in the remake? Let us know in the comments.
