Walmart: Zelda Pro Controller

Best Buy: Zelda Pro Controller

Amazon: Zelda Pro Controller

Target: Zelda Pro Controller

GameStop: Zelda Pro Controller

It isn’t just the Zelda 40th anniversary Switch 2 that its in high demand, as Nintendo also released a special Zelda Switch 2 Pro Controller on October 29 alongside the console. And just like the special edition Switch 2, it’s been extremely hard to find the Pro Controller since pre-orders began. However, we’re expecting to see a fresh wave of stock this week at retailers like Walmart and Target.

The Switch 2 Pro Controller is a tempting option for many as it makes far more sense to pick up the special gamepad if you already have a Switch 2. It also features the same striking gold and royal emerald design of the Zelda console.

This is the same fantastic Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller we’re used to, but it costs $10 more at $99.99 instead of the standard $89.99. That hasn’t put off buyers, and if you’ve been searching for a Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 Pro Controller restock, here’s the retailers most likely to have stock this week.

Walmart should have a fresh batch of the Zelda Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller on November 6. That’s when the retailer is re-opening online orders for the Zelda Switch 2 console, and it’s likely holding back stock to meet demand later this week.

A supply chain issue reportedly led to Walmart overselling pre-orders, with some customers receiving an email to repurchase and even a gift card covering the cost of the console. With the Zelda Switch 2 Pro Controller attracting the same sort of high demand from consumers as the console, a restock wouldn’t be out of the question.

Target has also promised to re-open orders for the Zelda Switch 2 console on November 6, and we’re expecting to see the same for the Zelda Switch 2 Pro Controller. It’s less likely to have as much inventory as Walmart, but it’s still one to keep an eye on.

The Nintendo Store has been the most reliable for restocks of the Zelda Switch 2 console, albeit in intermittent and unexpected bursts, but we’re yet to see the Pro Controller return. The Nintendo Store is the only place selling the controller with the display stand, too. Of course, our tracker will keep you alert of any restock that takes place in the lead up to November 6 and beyond.

Best Buy may have some stock reserved for online, but so far, it’s committed to a midnight launch on November 5 at certain stores, where the Zelda Switch 2 Pro Controller will be available in limited quantities. A similar situation is happening at GameStop, meaning you’ll have to brave the queues and find out whether your local store will be holding a midnight launch.

Nintendo’s New York and San Francisco stores are also holding a midnight launch event, but it’s already sold out, so don’t waste your time queuing outside either unless you already have a Warp Pipe Pass in hand.

We’ve helped over 400,000 people buy a PS5 when it was in and out of stock, and we’ve continued to help The Shortcut subscribers secure hard-to-find items.
